The Yorkshire series of miniature paintings is inspired by Yorkshire's beautiful and diverse landscapes. Being present in nature on its rugged moors, rolling dales, rocky outcrops and dramatic coastline never fails to evoke an emotional response in me. I use organic, expressive form and colour to consolidate both vista and sentiment in each.
